If you're up for a spa day or a (couple's?) massage to set the mood before our date, it's one of my favorite ways to unwind. I’m particularly fond of places like Aire Ancient Baths, The Well, and Shibui Spa—the latter is nestled within one of my preferred retreats, The Greenwich Hotel.

We could paint the town together just as well: Broadway shows, gallery openings, opera nights, indie film screenings, or shopping trips.

I’d love more additions to this list. I also have a soft spot for the Aman hotels and resorts.
